Perched on lava rocks directly over the water on Alii Drive, Huggo's is the classic Kona sunset bar and restaurant. The casual thatched-roof open-air setting, fresh fish dishes, and strong mai tais make it the best spot to watch the sun melt into the Pacific on the Kona coast. Great live Hawaiian music on weekends.
Tip: Arrive by 5:30 PM for the best ocean-view seating at sunset. The mahi mahi fish tacos and the mai tai are the classic orders. The rocks below the restaurant attract spinner dolphins in the early morning.
