One of Hawaii's best Indian restaurants, Shivalik in Kapaa serves authentic North Indian cuisine with house-made breads, slow-cooked curries, and tandoor-fired meats in an unpretentious family setting. The butter chicken, lamb rogan josh, and freshly baked garlic naan are genuinely excellent.
Tip: The lamb biryani and the palak paneer are the standout dishes. The naan bread is freshly made in a traditional tandoor oven. Excellent value — large portions at modest prices.
